かまわぬ柄の浴衣生地です。デッドストック生地のため、プリントがも滲んでいる箇所がありますが、ほとんどわからないと思います。(画像2番目)
「鎌輪ぬ(かまわぬ)文様」は、「鎌」「○」「ぬ」の三文字で「構わぬ」と読ませ、荒ぶる江戸っ子の心意気を表しています。 もともとは元禄時代の町奴たちが「火も水もいとわず身を捨てて弱き者を助ける」という心意気を宣言するデザインとして身につけたのが始まりだと言われています。他にも、「物事にこだわらない」というような意思表明であったとも言われています。
 
ビンテージ着物を解いて作りました。ほとんどの生地は正絹(シルク100%)か浴衣生地綿100%)になりますが、ビンテージのお着物や生地ですので素材の確認は出来ません。昔のものですので経年相応のシミや多少の焼けムラ、擦り傷、折跡などがある場合がございます。また、伝統的な日本ならではの素敵な柄を無駄にしないよう、生地に合わせてシェードの高さも変えております。中古品からのハンドメイドリメイクであることをご理解いただき、それも含めて世界に一つのオリジナルであることをお楽しみいただけたら幸いです。

This lamp is made with Yukata fabric from a traditional Japanese pattern called "KAMAWANU". The "KAMAWANU pattern'' is made up of the three characters "sickle'(kama)', "○(wa)'', and "nu(hiragana)'', which are read as "Kamawanu'', and expresses the spirit of the rough-and-tumble Edo people. It is said that people have continued to wear this design as a declaration of their spirit, "Even If there are fire or water, I will sacrifice myself to help the weak.'' It is also said that it was an expression of his intentions, such as "I don't care about a thing.''
 
Because it is dead stock fabric, there are some areas where the print bleeds, but I think it is hardly noticeable.
This product uses pure silk or cotton material. Synthetic fibers and wool are also available. Since it is a remake of a vintage kimono material, there may be light stains, uneven burns (discoloration), and scratches. We would appreciate it if you could understand that it is made with second-hand material and enjoy the original vintage feeling. In order not to spoil the pattern of the beautiful kimono as much as possible, The height of the lampshade is made according to the original width of each kimono. We would like you to enjoy it as the only "kimono goods" in the world. Please use LED bulbs to prevent fire.
